AlSager Wertel Architects, AWA, is a recently established architecture firm based between Kuwait and Germany. The founders, Amna AlSager and Kai Wertel, met while working at world-renown architecture office Foster + Partners, where each of them worked for more than 10 years. After working on site on several complicated international projects, they felt it was the right time to combine their knowledge and start their own practice. As a result, AWA was established in the year 2020, with the goal of merging international caliber of high-end architecture with local knowledge and functionality.

Each project is designed with great attention to detail and is analyzed from every aspect. Our team uses the latest technology to ensure efficiency, sustainability, and exceptional architectural expression, meanwhile challenging the status quo to create new innovative solutions that promotes the end-users’ experience.
